Pro Surfer Brianna Cope Breezes Down Pacific Coast Highway at Run Malibu Half

Pro surfer Brianna Cope swapped her surfboard for running shoes as she took on the Run Malibu Half Marathon proudly representing JAMBAR on Saturday October 13th. Known for her fearless approach in the water, Brianna brought that same determination to the race, showing that her adventurous spirit extends beyond the waves.

Incredibly, Run Malibu marked the 4th Half Brianna completed in just four weeks. Her commitment to pushing boundaries makes her a perfect partner for JAMBAR, which fuels athletes with high-quality, organic energy. Brianna's go-to flavor is Jammin’ Jazzleberry, and she counts on JAMBAR for pre- and post-race nutrition.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Malibu coastline, the Run Malibu Half Marathon gave participants 13.1 miles of ocean views and rolling hills, offering a close-up experience of the area’s natural beauty along Pacific Coast Highway. Fueled by JAMBAR, Brianna easily tackled the scenic but challenging course. Brianna has been running more as part of her overall fitness and wrapped up the Fall running season with the infamous New York City Marathon on Sunday November 3rd.

"I was pumped to be running the Run Malibu Half and to have JAMBAR fueling me in and out of the water” said Brianna. It was a perfect morning with blue skies for Brianna and 4,500 runners surrounded by the ocean, hills and nature of Malibu for 13.1 miles.

This event was extra special for JAMBAR serving as the official energy bar partner for MOTIV Sports, the organizers of Run Malibu. JAMBAR energy bars were given to each finisher at the race, ensuring they had clean, organic energy for post-race recovery.

Congratulations to all the Malibu runners who came out this October. And, a special congrats and thank you to Brianna. Whether you're riding waves or racing to the finish, JAMBAR is here to fuel every adventure. Great job, Brianna—cheers to many more miles!
