Celebrate National Bike Month With JAMBAR

May is National Bike Month, promoted by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast. Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to experience the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to give biking a try. As a brand that is passionate about people being active, JAMBAR supports programs and events that target new riders, seasoned peddlers and pro cyclists.

JAMBAR is thrilled to work with amazing partners, nonprofits and organizations to support National Bike Month and biking year-round! Some of our partners include:  Access4Bikes, Marin County Bicycle Coalition - Mountain Gravel & Road Biking (marinbike.org), and www.tripsforkidsbayarea.org in California; and CAMBA Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association | Big Woods Endless Trails in Wisconsin.

Here are a few of our May Bike Events in Northern California, Oregon, North Carolina and New Jersey:

In addition to fueling riders and supporting these events, JAMBAR partners with some incredible cyclists including: Ali Tetrick (Pro Cyclist, Gravel HOF 2023); Ryan McElmon (Pro Downhill Rider); Carina Classen (Elite MTB rider from Lake Tahoe); Kelly Hoffman (Top finish at Leadville and Tahoe Trail 100); and Izzy Landry and the Redwood High School Mt. Bike Team.

Based in the Bay Area, JAMBAR team members are lucky to be able to road, mountain or gravel ride year-round. If you want to learn more about how cycling plays into the history of our company, take a listen to our founder, Jennifer Maxwell, interviewed by cycling and triathlon legend Selene Yeager on her “Hit Play Not Pause” podcast.

Happy National Bike Month! Be sure to pack a JAMBAR in your kit, Camelbak or backpack on your next ride.
