The first time I tried JAMBAR was when a volunteer handed me one at the finish line of a half marathon. Since then, they've become a regular part of my fueling routine for long runs. They aren't crumbly or crunchy, which can be hard to eat while running. Instead, their firm, moderately chewy texture easy to get down while on the go. Having a little texture is also nice when you're getting tired of energy gels. I usually cut my bar up into smaller bite-size pieces before heading out. Each flavor I've tried has been outstanding. The fruity flavors in this variety pack are all fresh, unique, and have a touch of energizing acidity. My partner is allergic to chocolate, so it's also nice to have several great options that aren't chocolate-based.
